In a letter to Walter Hubbell, 1889 February 25, Libbey asks him to come on Thursday evening rather than the Wednesday evening as he had planned, saying "I have already secured a box at the Park Theatre for Thursday eve, to see 'Held by the enemy' and should be pleased to have you escort me..." She continues, "If anything prevents you from accompanying me, please let me know in time to make other arrangements...And above all things if you come please be here early -- you always get here very late. I want to see the opening of the first act. You would have to leave your home a little after six. The collection also contains 16 chapters of a novel, "Edith Leslie's Adventures," reminiscent of Robinson Crusoe, with a heroine shipwrecked on a deserted island.
